1) DHS announces flexibility in requirements related to Form I-9 compliance

2) The Office of Postsecondary Education updated their March 5, 2020 guidance to include an FAQ. The FAQ may be found at the bottom of the March 5th guidance or found here in a 4 page .docx document

Regional Coordinators distribute announcement and application materials to their members and NSEA members in their region.

February 15, 2020

SEOTY nominations are due to the campus Student Employment office.

March 2, 2020

Notifications of campus winners are due to Regional SEOTY Coordinators.

March 20, 2020

Regional SEOTY Coordinators submit their regional winner to the NSEA VP of Administrative Services.

March 23 - March 27, 2020

National Student Employee of the Year is selected and winner's school is notified by the NSEA President.

April 12 - April 18, 2020

National Student Employment Week observed.
National SEOTY winner announced and runner-up finalists notified.
National SEOTY award is presented at winner's campus.

February 21 SOTY nominations are due at the campus level. 
March 6 Deadline for SOTY Campus Selection to be e-mailed to the SOTY Chair.
March 13 SOTY Committee Chair sends campus level selectees to regional level readers.
March 27 Regional Readers–Deadline for return of rankings to SOTY Committee Chair.
April 10 Notification to NEASEA of Supervisor of the Year. 
Certificate and $100.00 gift card prepared and forwarded to nominating school.
